As some of you may have heard the price of cotton is on the rise. We should be thankful it didn't happen sooner, as this is the first real jump over many years. We will do our best to find the best deals so we can pass our savings on to you. I believe that passing on the art of quilting is still very important and would encourage you to share what you know about quilting with friends, relatives, and neighbors. A handmade gift is always heart warming and quilts are practical as well as fun to make! We will continue to take your suggestions for classes you may be interested in. There are many other things besides quilts that can be made with the cotton fabric we carry. I don't know about all of you but I'm already thing warm weather, time to get some summer dresses for my granddaughters. We have a great new pattern for an easy sun dress. Stop by the shop to see some new ideas for some lighter sewing projects.
We hope all of you have fared the winter blues and are ready for some terrific weather! Spring is one of the happiest seasons, every thing fresh and new beginnings are every where. We have some a bit of spring cleaning at the shop and we are ready for some warmer weather. We have decided not to go to the Spring Market in Salt Lake City, Utah this year but some of our fabric representatives will be bringing the Market to us! We will keep you posted on what you have to look forward to in the way of new fabrics to come.
New Fabrics!
We have received some beautiful new fabrics that just arrived at the shop. Some Spring floral's, really cute floral's & birds, as well as a beautiful black background with rich Red Tulips just to name a few. We will have some new kits available in the near future. We have made up some Spring fabric Hot Dog Pillow case kits! These sew up really fast and what a great gift for a grand child, loved in in a nursing home or college student. We have some made up for boys as well as the girls.
